I think that would be very difficult to ban weapons trades. The reasons are that ; every country wants to make profit of selling it despite the political
agendas. Even US sold weapons to Irak and Iran (iran contra).
In my opinion every country should sell or buy weapons if they do not want
to share Iraq's fate. I prise North Korea for its stance. No one is going to give any state independence, freedom if there is no effort to improve their security. Poland is the very good sample of a state that's giving up their independence and sovereignty by buing something that they can not use when there are going to be some political difficulties with US, (re; F-16, black box, that disables Polish Air Forces, whenever they would have Political situations). Once again if we are talking about total disarnament
I'm in favor, but US must be the first nation to consider reducing it's amount of WMD's. US is the world threat to every nations around the world (hence it's stockpile of over 100,000 WMD's). What about ISRAEL,
this country has WMD's and nicely destabilzing peace in arab region and to the world.
